Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Land Truly governing your use of our platform, including our website at landtruly.com and all associated services.

By accessing or using Land Truly, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and agree to comply with all terms outlined here.

User Accounts

To post listings on Land Truly, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and truthful registration information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Land Truly reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account found to be in violation of these terms, without prior notice.

Listing Rules and Document Requirements

Every listing submitted to Land Truly must comply with the following:

• The name on the submitted land document must exactly match the name entered in the listing form
• The location on the document must match the location submitted in the form
• All land documents must be genuine and unaltered originals
• A clear, unedited image of the land document must accompany every listing
• A minimum of one and a maximum of five land photos must be uploaded
• Videos must not exceed three minutes in length
• All listing information including price, plot size, and location must be accurate

Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Land Truly:

• Submitting forged, edited, or fraudulent land documents
• Listing land that you do not legally own or have authority to sell
• Impersonating another person or entity
• Posting false, misleading, or inaccurate listing information
• Attempting to bypass our verification system
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other members
• Posting spam, advertisements, or off-topic content
• Using the platform for any illegal purpose

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and where applicable, reporting to the appropriate authorities in Ghana.

Credits and Payments

Land Truly operates on a pay-as-you-go credit model — there is no automatic billing of any kind:

• Users purchase a credit plan (Starter, Standard, Agent, Developer) entirely at their own discretion
• Each plan loads a GHS credit balance onto your account, valid for 1 month from the date of purchase
• Every document verification scan deducts a small charge from your credit balance at the prevailing exchange rate
• Credit is valid for 1 month from purchase and does not carry over — there is no automatic renewal; you choose if and when to purchase again
• Active listing slots are governed by your plan tier — unused slots do not carry over
• All payments are processed securely via Paystack (Mobile Money, Visa, Mastercard) as a single, one-time charge — Land Truly never stores your card details and never charges your card again without you initiating a new purchase
• Credit purchases are non-refundable once verification scans have been used

Land Truly reserves the right to modify credit pricing with reasonable notice to members.

Verification and No Guarantee of Title

Land Truly's AI verification system checks for document authenticity, forgery signs, and consistency between submitted information and document content. However:

• Verification does not constitute legal confirmation of land ownership
• Land Truly is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice
• Buyers are strongly advised to conduct independent due diligence
• Engaging a licensed surveyor and legal counsel is recommended for all transactions
• Land Truly is not liable for any loss resulting from land transactions conducted through the platform

Intellectual Property

All content on landtruly.com — including the Land Truly name, logo, design, and written content — is the intellectual property of Land Truly and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without express written permission.

By submitting listing content including photos, videos, and descriptions, you grant Land Truly a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform for the duration your listing is active.

Limitation of Liability

Land Truly provides the platform as-is and makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Land Truly shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any transaction conducted through it.

Account Termination

Land Truly reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any of the following reasons:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Submission of fraudulent or forged documents
• Repeated complaints from other members
• Any conduct that harms the integrity of the platform or its members

Terminated accounts forfeit any remaining subscription credits without refund.

Changes to These Terms

Land Truly reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Land Truly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Land Truly shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
