How We Use Your Information

Land Truly uses your information strictly for the following purposes:

• To verify the authenticity of land documents you submit
• To match the name on your document with your submitted listing details
• To detect fraudulent or forged documents using AI-powered tools
• To manage your membership and subscription status
• To notify you of the outcome of your listing verification
• To protect buyers and sellers from land fraud in Ghana

Advertising and Cookies

We advertise Land Truly on Facebook and Instagram. To know which of those adverts actually bring people to the site, we use the Meta pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc.

When it is active, it tells Meta that a visit happened and which general action took place, such as a page being viewed, a search being run, an account being created, or a buyer choosing to contact a seller.

What it does not send. It does not send your name, your email address, your phone number, your land documents, or the details of any plot you own. We do not upload customer lists to Meta.

Your choice. If you are visiting from Europe or the United Kingdom, we ask before the pixel loads, and nothing is sent unless you accept. If you decline, it stays off and we do not ask you again on that device. You can change your mind at any time:

AI-Powered Document Verification

Land Truly uses artificial intelligence technology to verify land documents submitted by members. This process includes:

• Reading and extracting text from document images
• Comparing names and locations against submitted form details
• Detecting signs of image editing or document forgery
• Analyzing image metadata for authenticity signals
• Generating a verification confidence score for each submission

Document images submitted for verification are processed securely and are not shared publicly. Only approved listing details and land photos are published to the group.

Payments and Subscriptions

Land Truly uses a third-party payment processor to handle membership subscriptions. When you make a payment:

• Your payment details are processed securely by our payment partner
• Land Truly does not store your card or mobile money details directly
• Payment records are maintained to manage your subscription tier and posting limits
• All transactions are encrypted and processed in compliance with applicable financial regulations

Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your information seriously. Your data is:

• Stored on secure cloud infrastructure with restricted access
• Protected by encryption in transit and at rest
• Accessible only to authorized Land Truly administrators
• Retained only for as long as necessary to provide our services

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from this policy or your use of Land Truly shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
